An innovative method of learning French

Find out what my method of teaching French consists of and on which pedagogical approaches its novelty and modernity is based.

Why is my French teaching different from other teachers?

A teaching approach based on listening, understanding, trust and sharing

For teaching to be effective, it must be based on a pedagogical approach through which the teacher creates a relationship of trust with his student, so that he can share his doubts or lack of understanding with him. to share their doubts or misunderstandings. The teacher must also know how to place himself/herself at the level of the student in order to better understand his/her difficulties and thus be able to help him/her. In In other words, the teacher must understand that the student may not understand. In this case, the teacher must be able to explain the concepts and ideas in a different way and to find other examples and situations to illustrate the explanation. situations to illustrate his explanation.

Active learning of French.

"You tell me, I forget. You teach me, I remember. You imply, I learn".

B. Franklin

In addition to being based on trust and understanding, my pedagogical approach relies on the students' ability to learn by being active during class. This approach relies on questioning the students to call upon their knowledge -which is often more important than they think-, their logic and understanding in order to find their own mistakes and correct them. their logic and understanding in order to find their own mistakes and correct them. Together, we look for explanations and find answers to their Together, we look for explanations and find answers to their difficulties, which leads to the acquisition of lasting knowledge and methodological skills.

Unfortunately, I am not the creator of this pedagogy which is very old. It is the philosopher Socrates who was the first to use this method called - maieutics - based on the operation of questions in order to use the knowledge, logic and memory of his disciples. based on the operation of questions in order to use the knowledge, logic and memory of his disciples, leading them to find their own solutions to the problems posed by the the teacher.

In addition to the practice of this method, I have established a system oflogical explanations andmnemonic tricks so that my students understand and learn more easily the learn the French language more easily.

Modern and varied teaching materials for studying French

In order to organize and structure my courses, I have developed various teaching aids: lessons, exercises, text documents, dialogues, scenarios, e-books, podcasts and videos. These different types of material allow me to offer a complete teaching program where the student practices all the areas of the language: oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension and written expression. These tools also make learning easier, faster and more efficient since they call upon all the cognitive skills of the students. The student therefore learns faster and more durable. To better use the intellectual faculties of my students, I also use the mindmapping technique in my e-books, which facilitates the understanding and memorization of lessons.

Thanks to all these tools and to my personal pedagogical approach, I now offer courses that are based on both the traditional method of teaching the language (grammar, conjugation, vocabulary) and on a new approach that goes beyond this traditional teaching to offer my students a lively, varied, pleasant and fun. We always learn better if we have fun... But those who can speak best about it are always the students. So, read here their comments.
